Design of Automatic Leveling System for Suspended Working Platforms Base on PLC

A novel automatic leveling system for suspended access platform results in the same orientation pursuit strategy, improve performance in adjusting accuracy and speed of platfor-m, and prove the superior concept in safer and more intelligence automatic control. Programmable Controller (PLC) and dual-axis inclination sensor is adopted to the control system, which automatically changes the action of lifting device according to the inclination of the platform in order to eliminate the not-level quickly. The system that can achieve the synchronized drive accuracy of multi-point suspended platform by ± 4°, adjusting time of system is less than 15s. This paper i-ntroduces the control system principle and the realization m-ethod of the system, microcomputer hardware and control s-trategy.
