Guiding and Supporting Devices Effectiveness of the Rodless Drilling Unit and Its Ezperiment
To solve the disadvantages of traditional drilling rig caused by the rod, the conception of rodless drilling rig was given out. The operational principle and its structure of the rodless drilling unit, which is the key component of the rodless dri-llingrig, were introduced briefly. To analyze the rodless drilling units effectiveness, the guiding and supporting boards motion regulars were obtained by diagrammatical method, the stress of the guiding and supporting board was analyzed. Simulation test in 5 kinds of different working conditions and the prototype experiment in real undisturbed site were done and made clear that the guiding and supporting board can press stably against the hole. The simulation test and prototype experiment confirm that the guiding and supporting device of the rodless drill unit is effective.
