Intelligent Shifting Control System for Loaders

Owing to the complexion of loaders working condition, an automatic gear shifting strategy which combining several shifting schedules is proposed. The shifting schedule is chose depended on driving intentions, to which inferred by employ-ying fuzzy logic. A ZL50G loader is refitted, and automatic gear shifting control system is constructed. The results of capturing and driving field experiments indicated the accuracy of the automatic gear shifting strategy control logic, and that the operation of driver is simplified. The fuel data of V shape capturing and driving experiments illustrated that this automatic gear shifting strategy has the saving energy function, at the same time reducing labour intensity of drivers, and giving attention to fuel consumption, power, and practicability.
