Research on Motion Presence for Heavy Special Vehicle Driving Simulation System

The composition of the driving training simulation system for the special vehicles is introduced, and the realization methods of its motion base are elaborated. The kinematics equations of the 6-DOf motion base are established and deduced. The algorithm of auto disturbances-rejection control (ADRC) is analyzed to implement the action control for the 6-DOF motion base. At last, the simulation experiments are carried out, which is programmed based on Microsoft Visual C++. The experimental results indicate that the motion base for the special vehicles driving training system has perfect sense of immersion in third dimension space, especially in simulating the situations of accelerating, swerving, sloping road, braking and collision.
