The Design of Cam Outline for Electronic Unit Pump Based on ADAMS

In order to realize the ideal fuel injection characteristics of the unit pump in the medium and high power diesel engine the cam outline design plays the key role. Based on ADAMS, the paper provides a way to analyze cam outline through the given plunger lifting curve. Through the use of the Create Trace Spline function in ADAMS as well as through the establishment of simplified model, you can use ADAMs software to generate the mathematical model automatically and use its powerful solver to solve the model as well as calculate the cam outline quickly and accurately and make the kinematic simulation. I hope this article can provide the reference of a quick reverse design on the characteristics of cam outline of fuel injection pump.
