Low Level Drive System of Metal V-belt CVT
A low level drive system of metal V-belt CVT is developed in this paper. The electronic elements of this system are given in detail. Hardware interface drive circuit of electronic elements in GIU (Gearbox Interface Unit) is designed. CAN communication between GIU and VMS (Vehicle Management System) is established. CVT vehicle model is built in MATLAB/Simulink, and then RCP (Rapid Control prototype) of GIU is operated in the HILS (hardwarein-the-loop simulation) for validation of GIU. VMS is substituted by dSPACE for HILS, the simulation and on-board test results are analyzed finally.
