Nanoparticle-Based Elctrochemical Sensors for Sensitive Detection of Electroactive Small Moleclues
Nano-particles play important roles in electroanalyticl chemistry. They could decrease overpotential of some important reactions in electrochemical analysis, provide electrochemical reversibility by improving the electron exchange and transfer rate between electrode and substrates for redox reactions, which are irreversible at traditional bulk electrodes, as well as enhance sensitivity and selectivity of corresponding analytical methods. Thus, nano-materials have attracted substantial interest and been widely used in electroanlytical chemistry for the preparation of various electrochemical sensors thanks to their unique electrical and catalytic properties.
