Amperometric Hydrogen Perozide Biosensor Based on Horseradish Perozidase Immobilized on Fe3O4/chitosan Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

Sensitive and accurate determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is of practical importance, because it is not only a by-product of several highly selective oxidases, but also a significant mediator in various fields such as food, pharmaceutical, clinical, industrial and environmental analysis 1. In this study, a new kind of magnetic chitosan microspheres (Fe3O4/CS) was prepared using Fe3O4 nanoparticles and chitosan, and then HRP was immobilized on the Fe3(VCS modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). A novel amperometric hydrogen peroxide biosensor was fabricated on the basis of the immobilized HRP modified electrode with the mediator of methylene blue (MB) for the first time.
