Electrochemical Biosensor Based on the Assembly of Hemoglobin with 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium Ethylsulfate
Chemically modified electrodes prepared by different methods had been devised to accelerate the electron transfer rate of redox protein 1. Among them layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly is often used for the construction of protein electrochemical biosensors, which is mainly based on the alternative adsorption of oppositely changed species on the solid surface 2. Compared with the commonly used casting or drop-coating methods, LBL self-assembly can precisely control the layer composition and film thickness with ultrathin polyelectrolyte multilayer.
