A New Method in PTS to Reduce the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio in MIMO-OFDM System
Similarly, compared with other Multi Carrier Modulate systems, MIMO-OFDM, also adopting this kind of technique, tends to produce high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR), which will result in frequency spectrum spread and in-band distortion enormously due to the nonlinearity of the high power amplifier. Although the probability of high PAPR appearance is small, removing high PAPR value definitely influences the performance of signal, so the measures we take must guarantee to minimize this influence. Whereas this dissertation put forward some new algorithms based on traditional decreasing PAPR techniques, and the main innovations and contributions are: we apply the copy theory into grouping technique in PTS technique in probability scheme, by computer simulation, compared with traditional methods, the novel grouping scheme decreases the probability of high PAPR appearance, as well as predigests the operation complexity.
