LED Matriz Display System Based on Super Capacitors Powered by Solar Battery

An LED matrix display system using solar battery, super capacitors and DC/DC step-up regulator is proposed. Two capacitors are controlled by a microcontroller unit, which are charged by the solar battery and discharge to the load. Simulation results show that the LED matrix display works properly and has potential applications in outdoor public places.
