Theoritical Design of Photonic Crystal Fibers for Controling Birefringence and Dispersion
Numerical design of a highly birefringent photonic crystal fiber with near-zero dispersion and low confinement losses is presented. Birefringence of the order 1.0×10-2 is achieved at the 1.55 μm wavelength.
