A New Iteration on Determination of Heat Fluz of General Sideways Parabolic Equations

In this paper, we consider the inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP) in the quarter plane, where the measured temperature are given at x=I. The problem is called sideways parabolic equation and is severely ill-posed. We introduce a new iteration in solving the sideways parabolic equation for heat flux under both priori and posteriori stopping rules. If we use the discrepancy principle we can avoid the selection of priori bound.
