Numerical Approzimation of the Solution of an Inverse Heat Conduction Problem Based on Quartic Splines
In the paper, a modified numerical approach method based on quartic splines is derived to solve an inverse heat conduction problem with a nonlinear source term. First, we introduce quartic splines and the implicit difference scheme. Second, we give the quartic splines numerical approximate for the unknown function. The surface heat flux history of a heated conducting body will be identified. At the surface points, the accuracy of the proposed method is unproved to second-order. Finally, some numerical results are given to illustrate the efficiency of the new method.
