Comparative study on characteristics of twisting triangular space in ring spinning and core spinning
High-Speed Microscopic Camera System (HSMCS) was used to observe twisting triangular space on a ring spinning frame directly. Morphological characteristics of twisting triangular space and situations of fiber migration were comparatively studied. Results showed that when a polyester filament was added to the triangular space as a core yam, the length, width, and degree of asymmetry of the twisting triangular space were all reduced. Additionally, cotton fibers have little migration in the upside area of the twisting triangular space of ring spinning and core spinning.
