Properties of wool regeneration protein and polyacrylonitrile copolymerization fiber
Wool regeneration protein and polyacrylonitrile crossblend fiber are tested and analyzed, and the results show that this new fiber has maintained fine properties of both wool and polyacrylonitrile, such as higher elongation at break, lower breaking strength, higher crimp elasticity and higher moisture adsorption ratio. Meanwhile it is resistant to mild acid, weak alkali, and ordinary organic solvents, and resistant to some reducing agent and oxidant under low temperature conditions. It has characteristic functional groups of both wool and polyacrylonitrile, so it can be dyed by acid dye or cationic dye. There are special characteristics in bleaching and dyeing of this fiber. The optimum bleaching condition after pretreated fiber with FeSO4 is using H2O2 bleaching, thus, the fiber can be maintain required whiteness. a new idea was brought out, that is, to make a new type of mixed dyestuff designed specially for the dyeing of this fiber. The method of making this special dyestuff is drying the cationic dye and the antiprecipitant as the mass ratio is 1: 7~1: 9, and then mixed with acid dyes. This has provided a theoretic reference for dyestuff exploitation of this new type of fiber or similar fibers and fir dyeing and finishing.
