A real-time length-delay computation in open-loop autoleveller system of drawing frame

In open-loop autoleveller system of drawing frame, precise time-delay computation is the key to the yarn evenness. The existing methods to compute the timedelay mainly consist of Geometry, experiment and correlation algorithms, which are not real-time. The paper considers length-delay instead of time-delay and presents a real-time algorithm of length-delay computation which is based on correlation analysis. The algorithm gives the mathematical model of openloop autoleveller system, and the weight correlation between input yarn and output yarn was analyzed. According to the maximum and minimum of correlation function, the concerned length-delay can be precisely computed at once. Simulated results verify the algorithm.
