A new method of selecting primary color dyestuff by spectral reflectance
In order to obtain a larger color gamut and reduce the number of printing plates, the basic principles of the color science and four-color halftone printing theory were used, and a new method of selecting primary color dyestuff by spectral reflectance was put forward. The mathematical model of selecting primary color dyestuff was established by printing primary color dyestuff on the silk fabric and measuring the optical reflectivity curve. The experiments show that selecting primary color dyestuff is simple, fast,and high accuracy. The new method is of significance for guiding textile printing practice, and certain reference value for matching color dyestuff.
