Physical performance of composite materials with carbon nano-tube and carbon nano-powder
The conductivity performance and shielding effectiveness of electro-magnetic radiation for composite material with different contents of carbon nano-tube and carbon nano-powder were systematically studied by using ZC36 high resistance instrument and self made wave-guide electromagnetic radiation apparatus respectively. The results show that the conductivity performance and shielding effectiveness closely correlate with the content of conductivity material in composite materials, and there is a critical threshold value of weight percent of conductive particles in composite materials. In addition, it is also found that the critical threshold value of weight percent of carbon nano-tube in composite materials much smaller than carbon nanopowder in ocmposite materials.
