Students Sports Movement in the Republic of Tatarstan
Students sports is difficult and many-sided process, which separate components are considered in different contexts: social and economic, sports, educational, legal, and scientific. Obviously that great expectations assigned by society on students as the future competitive experts, can be carried out only if they will be morally and physically healthy. Very experts are necessary to our republic with an allowance for major problems facing it. Nowadays the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the scientifically-educational and students centers in Russian Federation. Currently the third part of all youth of the Republic, that is more than 280 thousand people, study in educational institutions. In this connection, one of the priority directions of a youth policy is collaboration with students, development of university sports. In republic the indicator of students who are actively going in for sports increases-it makes 19,2%. Sports contests among students of institutes of higher education are made active by 24 kinds of sports. The quantity of Student Participants grows in the All-Russia mass sports events (Ski track of Russia) and in the All-Russia Day of run 《Cross of the nations》 in which more than 100 thousand participants had taken part already. During the organization of mass sports events the Ministry on affairs of Youth, Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan works in close cooperation with youth students public organizations, such, as; (League of students), MPhSO 《Burevestnik》, which covers more than 200 thousand students.
