The Research on the Campus Culture s Affection of the 2009 World University Winter Games in Harbin
The World University Winter Games, by the International University Sports Association, are available only to undergraduates and graduates not more than two years of college students (age limit of 17-28 years old) to participate in the international large-scale comprehensive games, and it is an integral part of the World University Games. In 1960, Olympic-like event was in Chamonix of France, which hosted the first World University Winter Games. Summer Games and Winter Games respectively in oddnumbered years and held in even-numbered years, Summer Games and Winter Games has been in the same year from 1981, the winter session has been held for the 23 th by 2005, the sports projects include that: Speed skating, Short-track, Figure skating, Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing, Ski jumping, Biathlon, Ice hockey,Nordic combined, Curling, Freestyle skiing, Snowboarding. The World University Games whose size and format similar to the Olympic Games and therefore there is little Olympics, the participating countries and the number has increased year by year. After five years of careful preparation, the 24th World University Winter Games will be held on February 18, 2009 in Harbin city. The Study on the campus culture affection by the 24th World University Winter Games which will play a positive role to get the value of knowledge and to attract more concern on the 24th World University Winter Games.
