The Economic Analysis on Determination of Winter Sporting Facilities Price
There are two social economic goals to be accomplished during the marketing process of common commodities; one is satisfying social demands, the other is the recovery of production cost. What s more, the commodity trade is not only for the cost retirement, but also for the profit. In other word, if just balancing expenditure with income, the production process will lose value. It is the same for sport industry, includes both the traditional sport goods enterprises and modern sport leisure and sport competitive performance enterprises. With the development and popularization of winter sports, the socialization degree of some winter sports became more and more significant, such as ski, ice skating, etc. Nowadays, it has been a fashion for people to go to ski resorts and ice skating arena to get the entertainment and fitness. In other north cities, some new hot field to invest also shows up. For example, there are more than 30 ski resorts in total just around Beijing, which have the highest level facilities and can satisfy consumer s different demand. But as to the management status of those ski resorts, they can seldom achieve the above two social economic missions at brand benefit, cost devoted, cycle of investment return and rate of investment return. For the reason, it s mainly due to the price determination process. In this thesis, we first discuss the economic theoretical bases and characters of price making. After that, we try to induce the normal price determination model of winter sport facilities, in order to present some reasonable management philosophy and measures to the winter sport management sectors.
