By consulting materials of World Winter Universiade and 20-year history of international games, the article has proven that every game has a well-rounded impact on the host city and country. Likewise, the 2009 World Winter Universiade will bring opportunities and positive influence on college students in our province. The author analyzes the opportunities and positive influence that the 2009 Winter Universiade provided to the university students and offers a reference for the selfperfection of university students.
