Study on Lumbar Vertebrae Trauma Biomechanics for Speed Skater Based on Finite Element Method

Speed skaters always stoop and engage in mechanical motion again and again, due to posture, there will accumulate large number of lactic acid, creatine and creatinine in tissue that will cause hyperkinesia, fatigue and trauma of the waist. Consequently, speed skaters could easily suffer from wrick of cervical and lumbar vertebrae, strain of lumbar muscles. However, the structure shape, material character and loads of spine are complex. It is difficult for conventional test methods, such as electrical measure method, photoelasticitic method and full information photograph, to acquire macrocosM information. However, Finite Element Method has predominant advantage in spine surgical biomechanics that the conventional methods do not have. In the paper, with the help of using CT scanning with converse engineering soft Mimics, the author established three dimensional finite element model of lumbar vertebrae and discussed the method of complicated three dimensional structure reconstruction and lumbar vertebrae biomechanics character for speed skaters.
