Research on the Calculating Methods of 24th Winter Universiade s Economic Value

摘要：

Since Beijing successfully applied 2008 Olympic Games, China began to play a more and more positive role in the world s sport events field. Both the government and the researchers believe that sport events can generate huge economic value and social utility to the hosting area. In this thesis, the external effects connecting to the 24th Winter Universiade was firstly taken into account when discussing how to measure the total economic value of it. Then, through internalizing the externalities, we discuss the general theoretical bases of the economic calculation of the 24th Winter Universiade, one is TCM (Travel Costs Method), the other is CVM (Contingent Valuation Method).
