Research on Effect of Carnosine to improve Sport Ability of Short Trace Speed Skating Players

Camosine (beta-alanyl-L-hystidine) is a small molecule and soluble dipeptide commonly present in mammalian tissue, and in particular in skeletal muscle cells. Many studies have shown that this small molecule also has membrane-protecting activity, proton buffering capacity, regulation of macrophage function and anti-oxidant free radical. Carnosine has been applied in biochemical medicine and healthy nutrition in recent years. But its applying related reports in sport science field havent been seen. This paper was to test some biochemical indexes and to investigate the effect of Carnosine to sport ability of short trace speed skating players, and provide theoretical basis for Carnosine as the natural sport nutrition.
