Automatic Tazonomy Creation for Domain Corpus

摘要：

Taxonomy is important for information retrieval and knowledge management. Because it not only allows to structure information into categories, but also facilitates the construction of knowledge base. However, taxonomy creation is a time-consuming task even for the professionals. Hence, this paper proposes an automatic method to create the taxonomy for domain corpus and the method will go through 3 steps; PAT-Tree based phrase extraction, feature terminology selection and formal concept analysis based taxonomy creation. Finally, some experiment results show that this method is both effective and reliable.
