Ontological Semantics Discovery for Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Management
Ontologies enable knowledge sharing, reuse and fusion between two knowledge sources over the network. Ontologies add semantics to the data. Discovering the ontological semantics will help to increase the reliability of knowledge exchange. This paper presents a new approach for ontological semantics clustering using Formal Concept Analysis (FCA), Self-Organizing Map (SOM) and K-Means. The conceptualization of the ontology is formalized using FCA, and SOM is used to cluster the discovered ontological concepts. To reduce the problem size and to gain better visualization of the intrinsic relationship between ontological concepts, K-Means clustering is applied on the clustered SOM.
