A Method of Quickly Acquiring Knowledge Fragments for Emergency Decision-Making
When an emergency event breaks out, the decisionmakers need to obtain the knowledge fragments with semantic characteristics at the microscopic level quickly from emergency plans. However, the knowledge in the plans is organized according to physical structure, not according to the order or processes of the emergency events. The knowledge required by decision-makers is broader than just structure. So it is very difficult to make judgment at the scene quickly. To enable decision-makers to access this knowledge fragments more efficiently, our goal is to develop a method of acquiring knowledge fragments by extracting meta-questions, classifying metaquestions, and establishing questions tree. When establishing the questions tree, which means finding decision-making questions set, we have established the logical structure of the text. Using this method the plans will be reconstructed logically to provide the required knowledge fragments to decision-makers.
