Multiple Attribute Decision Making with Uncertainty Using the ERApproach and OWA Operator
In this paper, we first review aggregation schemes of attributes in the evidential reasoning (ER) approach to multiple attributes decision analysis (MADA) under uncertainty. Then, based on the independent assumption imposed on alternatives which allows us to work out probabilities of pairwise comparisons of alternatives, we define a choice function based on the ordered weight averaging (OWA) operator for decision making. A numerical example traditionally examined in published sources on the ER approach is used to illustrate the discussed technique.
