The Tacit Knowledge Acquisition; A Fundamental Way of Knowledge Management
As a preliminary process of knowledge organization and sharing, the tacit knowledge acquisition is an essential task in Knowledge Management. However, there are still various interpretations of what the tacit knowledge is and where the tacit knowledge derives from, such as the tacit knowledge is innate and ineffable, etc. This is a kind of Agnostics in Philosophy that the tacit knowledge is considered unmanageable and uninterpretable. According to the principle on PRACTICE of MAO TSE-TUNG, a new theory is proposed that the tacit knowledge derives from practices accompanied with guidance of explicit knowledge. The tacit knowledge is highly abstract, which derives from integration of explicit knowledge and practical experiences, and it supports efficient reasoning and rapid retrieving. A computer simulation model is also issued to imitate acquisition process of the tacit knowledge.
