A Service Oriented Agent Model

摘要：

A service oriented agent model is proposed with the aim to improve the adaptability and pro-activeness of Web service in this paper. By using this model, a service agent is an intelligent service broker that proactively offers the self-managed Web services to respond to the requests from the environment adaptively. The service oriented agent model shields the heterogeneity of distributed Web services and encapsulates the internal logics in the Web service by using operation templates and plans, where the operation template abstracts the features of a group of operations with similar functions and the plan defines the business logics of how to use the operation templates to achieve a certain business goal. Therefore, the common users only need to focus on what they want to achieve rather than how to achieve.
