A Codifying Method for Graphics Knowledge Management
Knowledge has been defined as know-how, and it comes to managing knowledge. Mobilizing this knowledge however, is a problem because one always knows more than one can say. The same situation also appears in computer graphics application. To extent the knowledge or implicit expression in graphics is important, and the technique of codifying is facing challenge. In this paper, an efficient method for codifying tacit graphics knowledge into explicit knowledge is presented. The codifying algorithm, which is based on reverse subdivision either the Interpolatory or approximate schemes such as Butterfly subdivision or Loop subdivision, is approached. This gives a solution and a strategy for knowledge management in graphics application.
