Practice and Application of IEM Concept in Legislation for Combating Land Degradation in Gansu Province

摘要：

GEF/OP12 project is the first partnership project of Global Environment Facility (GEF) in the prevention and control of land degradation, which is aimed at preventing and restraining land degradation of the ecosystems in arid region by means of IEM, so as to eliminate poverty, preserve the biological diversity, promote sustainable development of western China, as well as to provide technical and administrative support for integrated management of natural resources across different sectors and regions.
