A Multiple-Dimensional Quality Design Method Based on Consideration of the Correlation between Quality and Price

With the market obstruction, low-price strategy has been widely used to spot new market breakthroughs, and this tendency is being continuously strengthened recent year. However it cant be deemed a proper methodology, if merely lower the price without considering the achievement of customer satisfaction. In such situation, it is essential to arise some quality elements, for which customers are willing to pay more. It suggests a quality design method that compiles the information collected from customers and then fixes the design quality by utilizing the quality house (HOQ) tool during the quality design process. Whats more, it requires focus on the quality level-up of the quality elements with higher priority based on the importance investigation to the required quality. But after consideration of the mentioned situation, it appears difficult to satisfy the customer just from the one-dimensional viewpoint. In this research a new method has been introduced to clarify surplus quality elements which dont affect the customers satisfactory and search out new quality elements which link to new satisfactory. Finally the effectiveness of the method has been confirmed.
