Numerical Test on Instability of Rock Slope Based on RFPA-SRM

The stability of a rock slope mainly lies on the properties of the structural planes involved in the rock masses. By means of the strength reduction method and the analysis on the rock failure process of RFPA, the author herein does some numerical test studies on the deforming and failing process of the rock slope which reproduces the process of the failure of the slope. According to the analog result, the author analyzes and gains the forming mechanisM of the best dangerous sliding surface, which provide the scientific evidences for the forecast and the cure.
