Digital Simulation of Mine Fire Disaster Based on CFD
In order to solve the complicated problems in the simulation of mine fire disaster, PHOENICS of CFD has been adopted to analyse the parameters which can be used to simulate the three key factors (speed, temperature and pressure) of smoke flowing into tunnels. To carry out the simulation, boundary condition and causes of fire should be set This method possesses the advantage of flexibility, so the corresponding changing pattern of digital simulation can be found. It has been proved that the smoke flow simulation system can provide basis for showing the fire conditions during various period, determining the smoky tunnels, judging the safe places and seeking the routes to flee from fire.
