Research on Positioning System of WSN-Based Fire Source of Coal Spontaneous Combustion
Technology of positioning fire source of coal spontaneous combustion is key to prevent fire in coal mine, which has not been resolved satisfactorily. Based upon small-scale and low-cost devices, wireless sensor networks (WSN) achieves processing, storing, sensing and communication. It can be applied in environmental monitoring, home automation, logistics, and so on. At the very beginning, the thesis presented you with the advantages of wireless sensor networks technology for coal mining security monitoring. Then, it presented you with the designed realization plan as well as the hardware design principles of wireless sensor network. The emphases were put on sensor nodes structure and communication protocol. The positioning system consists of MSP430 CPU, CC2420 RF chip and DZW-T1 temperature sensor. Multi-path load balancing protocol and S-MAC protocol are used in network layer and data link layer respectively. The thesis states that, compared with traditional monitoring system, WSN is more suitable for colliery security system because of flexibility, extensibility and exact data. The study developed the technology of positioning fire source of coal spontaneous combustion.
