Application of New Surveying Techniques in Open-Pit Slope Monitoring
Some issues about surveying techniques in side-slop monitoring in open-pit, such as the observing precision, real-time performance and so on, must be resolved to ensure the safety in mining operation and to increase production efficiency. A combined observing mode of GPS relative positioning and surveying robot (i. e. TCA2003 Total-stations instrument) is adopted in test on site in open-pit deformation monitoring. The relevant conclusions, including error resources of GPS positioning, characteristics of survey robot with APSWins systeM in application, precision evaluation of testing results, etc., is obtained from the data analysis and processing based on the experimental information in field work. At last, it is discussed in details that the means and measures in data collecting and processing, selection of GPS observing stations, and that the methods and experiences how to achieve the millimeter-level precision of observation results in side-slop deformation in real-time performance. It has the certain reference significance and the practical value for the testing data and observing results to apply in the side-slop monitoring by using the new scurrying technique and instruments in openpit.
