Analysis on the Application of GPS Combined with GIS in Mine Environment Inspection and Survey
In the past century, the mine industry of our nation has made a great development, and the exploitation has become larger and larger, the mine resource has given huge power to the nations economic progress. Therefore, we have to admit that, despite of the advancement, the mine resource exploitation has also created great pollution, and made a terrible destroy of the environment, and this has threat the sustaining development. We need to make our people have the idea of Environment Civilization, and the aim is to have all the citizens work and live in a good environment Thus, we must pay great attention on the mine environmental destructions. In this paper, the author analyzed the influence of mine exploitation caused to the environment, and made an introduction of the complication of Global Positioning System (GPS) combined with Geographic Information System (GIS) in mine environment protection. At last it analysis about the advantages that the combination with the GPS combined with GIS.
