Stress and Failure Mode Analysis of Oil-Water Well Casing
Research on stress of oil-water well casing was the basic work for studying the mechanism of casing damage. Based on the geo-stress, the elastic-plastic model of composite element of casing-cement sheathsurrounding rock was built, and the elastic-plastic model of the casing composite element was numerical calculated. By uniaxial compression and shear numerical experimentation of the casing composite element, the value of elastic-plastic parameter of equivalent element was defined, and then calculated the equivalent element and defined the parameter value of shearing strength. The results showed that composite and equivalent elements have plastic deformation when maximum principal stress increased to 60MPa, the stress distribution and plastic deformation of the equivalent element were basically correspondence with the composite one. It was significant for preventing casing damages, guaranteeing oil field safety in production through adjusting injection-production techniques.
