The Finite Element Analysis on Driving Wheel-Azle System of Adhesive Tape Conveyor with Steel Wire Towing

Linked to the fact that QingShui coal mine used the adhesive tape conveyor with steel wire towing, a finite element analysis model was proposed utilizing the software ANSYS and the simulation analysis of intensity and rigidity was generated on the driving wheel-axle system. The stress and distortion isograms under load function were obtained. The dangerous region about stress and strain was direct-viewing found. The stress and distortion about the system was checking-computed under the transport capacity of 2,000,000 ton every year. The simulation results have provided the basis for reconstructing and implementing plan of the transportation system on QingShui coal mine. The driving wheel-axle system after reconstructing could move more placidly. It has further confirmed the usability and reliability of the model and the computation a-nalysis method proposed in this article.
