Application of the Gas Sensor in Coal Mines
Detection of methane gas is an important content in the safety of coal mining production. Studying the particularity of gas detection in coal mine and analyzing the principle characteristics of various gas sensors was the base of detecting coal gases. Analyzing the electrochemical method, thermal conductivity method, optical interferometric method, catalytic combustion method, gas sensitive semiconductor method, infrared spectroscopy method of gas detection after research history and present situation. Compared and analyzed the accuracy, measure accuracy, stability and continuity of these methods. Working principle and structure features of the most promising infrared gas sensor are also analyzed in detail, the thesis researches and designs a infrared gas detecting system based on ARM microcontroller.
