Research on Mine Dynamical Disaster Early-Warning System Based on the Field-Strength Variation

The changes of pressure inner the rock around the mine are accompanied with the charge accumulation, electric field change and electromagnetic radiation. The electric field will change greatly when the stress inner the rock is large enough to break the rock. According to the change rate of the electric field strength, an alarm for forecasting Mine Dynamical Disaster is designed. With being equipped with one alarm, each worker in mine can be reminded to leave the dangerous area when the stress inner the rock changes fiercely. Field strength probe of detection system is installed in the active areas of the mine, such as driving face, geologic fault and the areas where changes of mine dynamic can be continuous monitored. Electric and mechanical characteristic curves, including the curves of Frequency characteristic, field-strength characteristic and changes of field strength, can be obtained through experiments on rock samples. Based on the basic parameter, a warning system can be designed to detect the change of the field strength caused by Mine Dynamical Disaster. The alarm is designed in low-power scheme and is composed of a 16 -bit embedded computer, signal sampling unit, data processing and storage unit as well as the module of LCD displaying and optoelectronic alarm unit The whole alarm system is composed of field strength probe, CAN bus and host.
