INFLUENCE OF METALLIC ION ON ENZYME DEINKING EFFECT
The effects of metal ions on cellulase deinking were investigated by adding several solutions od metallic ions into the enzyme deinking system in this paper. Chelating treatment effects of metal ions were then analyzed. It is concluded that Al3+, Mg2+ and Cu2+ have inhibitory effects on enzyme behavior to waste paper deinking, and the effects of dust degrees have the order of Al3+>Cu2+>Mg2+; Fe3+, Mn2+, Ca2+ and NH4 + can activate the cellulase deinking ability, and the enhancing effect is Fe3+ > Mn2+ > Ca2+ > NH4+. The optimal enhancing concentration for Ca2+ ion concentration is 1.2%, Mn2+ is under 0.6%, and NH4+ is 0.2%. Brightness and dusts are improved when the recovered pulp is chelated; The brightness of chelated pulp has increased 10%ISO higher than that of non-chelating treated pulp, and dust content has decreased by about 60 mm2/g.
