STUDY ON BLEACHABILITY OF THE BIOPULP OF GUANGYECHU WHITE BAST
The chemical compositions of biopulp of Guangyechu white bast were investigated. Different bleaching methods, especially the total chlorine-free (TCF)bleaching, were preliminarily investigated. The brightness of biopulp could reach to 55.5% ISO by H2O2 bleaching. In hypo-treatment process, the brightness was difficultly enhanced when the active chlorine charge was more than 3%. When the alkali charge added to 4%, the pulp could be bleached to 70.6% ISO through oxygen delignification. However, further more addition could not improve the effect obviously. The pulp could be further brightened up to 76.5% ISO in H2O2 brightening stage. This result meet the brightness demands of long fiber pulp for food industry.
