RESEARCH ON CONTROLING WHITE PITCH WITH AMYLASE

摘要：

White pitch was disadvantageous for paper machines and products. The PCD value, zeta potential and turbidity of the stock were discussed after the coated broke was treated with amylase. The research shows that amylase can decrease the content of white pitch. Its efficiency is better than other chemicals. Internal bond of paper can increase. Zeta potential of the stock decreases because the total surface area of fibers increases.
