STUDY ON HYDROLYTIC ACIDIFICATION DURING THE TREATMENT OF CLOSELY RECYCLED WASTEWATER IN PAPER MILLS USING WASTE PAPER AS RAW MATERIAL
Several experiments, in lab scale, were performed to study effect factors of hydrolytic-acidification (HA)during the treatment of closely recycled wastewater in wasted-paper making mills. Batch-flow tests suggested that it was suitable for acidification at pH 6~7, COD removal rate reached 50.6% at pH 7, the effluent COD was obviously decreased. COD removal ratio increased 10% with every 10℃ increase from 20 to 40℃. The effluent of HA became worse at 50℃. Continuous-flow tests indicated COD removal ratio became higher with longer HRT and VFA concentration increased firstly and then decreased with the HRt continuous increase. HRT at 8 hours can be defined as the dividing line of two phases.
