RESEARCH ON EUCALYPTUS CTMP WASTEWATER TREATMENT WITH DYNAMIC COMPOSITE ELECTROLYSIS METHOD
A novel method, dynamic composite electrolysis technique, had been developed for the treatment of eucalyptus CTMP effluent. The method combined three dimension electrode technology, chemical modified electrode and micro-electrolysis technology. The organic pollutants were reduced greatly by the synergetic effects of the strong oxidizing potential of the active chemicals and the coagulation of neonatal active coagulation agent. The main influencing factors (viz., modified electrode, liquid flowrate, current density, electrolyte pH value and temperature) were investigated to get the optimuM conditions. The results show that with the optimuM conditions including Ti/SnO2+Sb2O5 anode material, 40mLmin-1 liquid flowrate, 8mA/cm2 current density, pH value of 4 and the original temperature, 95% and 70% removal efficiencies of color and CODCr are achieved respectively. It is expected that dynamic composite electrolysis technique will be applied to treat other wastewater of pulping and paper-making high efficiently.
