STUDY ON EFFECTS OF DISSOLVED OXYGEN (DO) ON PENTACHLROPHENOL (PCP) DEGRADATION WITH MICROAEROBIC GRANULAR SLUDGE
In this paper, effects of restrictive ecological factor of dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration on the system were studied. Experimental results showed that increasing of DO concentration in microaerobic range was in favor of CODCr removal and PCP mineralization, and gas production was high, but when Do concentration was beyond this range, the disadvantage effects might occur, which was adverse to CODCr and PCP removal, and moreover caused air pollution because of aeration stripping of organic matters from the system.
